Daniel Torres Calderon 

Daniel is a visual and multidisciplinary artist born in Lima. Growing up in catholic school & conservative society made him explore various different areas & lifestyles such as architecture, wellness, music and spirituality; deeply influencing his artistic practice. 

Throughout his journey as an artist he found in the use of light a way to transform spaces highlighting and questioning concepts of identity or heritage, creating mesmerizing pieces with the use of symbolism and sacred geometry, or site-specific installations.

For Daniel, his most important body of work is spatial. In these site-specific installations he allows himself to work with multiple mediums such as light, sound, smoke, food, water, scent and performance to create a 360 multi-sensory experience in which he touches difficult subjects like gender norms, abuse, trauma, politics, corruption, and more.

Daniel considers his artistic & spiritual practices deeply intertwined, looking into the future to align & express his work as a therapeutic Astrologer even further through his artistic work.
